The Indian pictures are taken in and around Kolkata during her stay in 2009, where the Dutch ones are from all over The Netherlands: Amsterdam, Utrecht, Vianen and others.
In 26 photographs she will show the similarities between our two countries. Architecture, street life, nature are some of the subjects to be seen. With these pictures, beautifully printed on art paper, organized in pairs, the artist asks one question: Are our 2 countries really different, or not? Find the answer by visiting this fascinating exhibition.
The printing ,size 60x90cm, and mounting on Aluminium is done by me, Fine Art Printing Specialist.
On Sunday February 14, a ‘meet and greet’ with the artist, will be organized in the gallery. You are cordially invited to join between 15.00 and 20.00 PM.
